Acıbadem Maslak 1 Hospital

Acibadem Maslak, with a capacity of 150 beds, was built on a land of 13.000 square-meters and has a closed area of 40.000 square-meters. Being a perfect example of the elegant and conceptual approach, the starting point of the hospital’s interior design is the microscopic view of epithelium tissue under a microscope.

In order to soften the austere block impact of the structure’s façade giving on to the forest without interruption, the main façade has been covered with a double layered glass shell. The space between the glass shell and the outer wall of the building was illuminated, and the monumentality that continued throughout the day was made sustainable throughout the night.
Each and every detail of the building, from having surrounding natural landscaping to providing a complete digital infrastructure, has been designed in such a way as to set an example for the world.
