Acıbadem University Nano Biotechnology Center

The new Nano biotechnology Center, founded at Acıbadem University with an area of 700 sqm,, consists Molecular Modeling Laboratory, Advanced Bioanalysis Laboratory, Biomimetic Laboratory, Sensors and Functional Materials Laboratory, laboratories for mammalian and bacterial cell culture, Brain-Mind Laboratory, Biomechanics Laboratory, Data Analytics Laboratory and Central Research Laboratory.

This Center has been fitted with numerous hi-tech equipment ranging from digital PCR systems making it possible to diagnose before operation for cancer patients in particular to peptide synthesis device used for synthesis of biotechnological medicine molecules inspired by the nature.

It is possible to develop artificial tissue parts containing nanoparticles impregnated with medicine which could make renovation possible in tissue engineering with multifunctional biomaterials, using both conventional and 3B as well as 4B technologies.
